Neil Young & Crazy Horse 1987-06-03 or 04 Soundcheck Wembley, England Here is my little contribution to the recent flow of 87 shows. This is one for the real die hards. The sound quality isn't that good. The recording is very roughly made, with a lot of volume variations. A soundcheck isn't always a spot for good music, a lot of fiddling around. There are a few nice guitar pieces here and there. No complete songs though BUT The main reason to share this is that Neil and the band seem to be working on a new tune that I haven't heard anywhere else. It has a clear structure and even some lyrics in the middle. The recent visit to Spain (The 1987 tour started there) inspired Neil to a tune that could be a brother to Eldorado. I dubbed the tune "Spanish Girl" as Neil sings these words. It's a pity this songs never saw the light of day, it pretty much sticks in your head I'm not sure about the date or city. maybe some of the english contributors can shine a light on that. Once recieved in a trade, I don't know any orginal facts about the recording. I transferred the music from my cassette tape to the Edirol, editing with Adobe Audition. tracks 1. Everybody knows This Is Nowhere(Band) 2. Jam (Band) 3. Guitar pieces (solo) 4. Mr Soul (Band) 5. Guitar pieces (solo) 6. Spanisch Girl (Band) 7. Piano pieces (solo) Enjoy Otto
